Water Care Guide

Getting your water right should not involve guesswork. Follow the routine below and keep the full guide handy for the detail.

Starting a new ice bath

  • Fill the ice bath and start filtration.
  • Add Chlorine Remover to remove the chlorine introduced by tap water.
  • Test the water.
  • Adjust total alkalinity first.
  • Adjust pH.
  • Adjust calcium hardness if required.
  • Add Water Treatment Sanitiser.
  • Add Minerals if required.

Every week

  • Add Chlorine Remover after topping up with tap water.
  • Clean the cartridge filter with Instant Filter Cleaner.
  • Add Water Treatment Sanitiser.
  • Check total alkalinity, pH and calcium hardness, and adjust as required.
  • Add Cleanser.
  • Add Shock.
  • Add Minerals if used.

Every month

Use Bio-Cleaner to remove bio-film build-up from the bath, pipework and filtration.

Every three months, or before completely emptying

Use Pipe Cleaner as directed to remove grime and organic build-up from pipework before you drain the bath.

When required

Use De-Foamer sparingly if foaming occurs. Persistent foaming can indicate a build-up of body fats and oils, and may mean the water should be replaced.
