Clear As Ice uses a non-chlorine sanitiser, so you can maintain your ice bath without the harsh chlorine smell or irritation people associate with chlorinated water. Because tap water can contain chlorine, Clear As Ice Chlorine Remover goes in whenever your bath is filled or topped up, keeping chlorine out of the system.

Yes. Clear As Ice uses a non-chlorine sanitiser and is designed as a chlorine and bromine-free water treatment system for ice baths and cold plunge tubs.

No. The Clear As Ice sanitising system is not compatible with chlorine. Chlorine should be removed from the water before using the system.

Tap water can contain residual chlorine. Chlorine Remover should be used when initially filling your ice bath and whenever you top it up with tap water.

Test your water at least once a week, or more frequently depending on how often the ice bath is used.

Maintain total alkalinity between 125 and 150 ppm and pH between 7.2 and 7.6. Water Treatment Sanitiser should be maintained at the recommended level shown in the Clear As Ice Water Care Guide.

No. Some products form part of your weekly routine, while others are used monthly, every few months or only when required.

Yes. Always have the filtration system running when adding Clear As Ice water treatment products and allow 30 minutes between chemical adjustments.

Clear As Ice products are dosed according to the volume of water in your ice bath. Knowing the correct litre capacity helps ensure accurate treatment and prevents over-dosing.

Cartridge filters should be cleaned regularly with Instant Filter Cleaner. Bio-Cleaner is used monthly, while Pipe Cleaner is recommended approximately every three months or before completely draining the bath.

Foaming can indicate a build-up of body fats, oils and other contaminants. De-Foamer can reduce foam when required, but persistent foaming may indicate that the water should be replaced.
